Lorraine Marie Handzo, age 82 of Emmitsburg died Friday, February 25, 2011 at St. Catherine’s Nursing Center in Emmitsburg. She was born August 4, 1928 in New York, the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Mae Grazenkowski Cyran. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Handzo, Sr.
She is survived by children, Michael, Jay, Mark, Chris, Robert Handzo and Elizabeth McMahon; brother, Stanley J. Cyran and his wife, Mary Ellen; sister-in-law, Dorothy Michalek; also eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services and inurnment in Arlington National Cemetery will be private for the family.
