Logan Tyler Crepeau, age 15, of Cascade, Maryland, formerly of Emmitsburg, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at his home.
Born January 26, 1995 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the loving son of Robin C. Wheeler of Cascade and Daniel Crepeau of Thurmont.
Logan was currently a 10th grade student at Smithsburg High School in Smithsburg, MD, but had attended school in both Emmitsburg and Fairfield, PA. He enjoyed sports and played football in Fairfield, and Fall ball and baseball in Emmitsburg. Logan loved to make people laugh, “clown around” and be the life of the party. He had a passion for playing the guitar, singing, dancing, and acting in school plays thru the Drama Club. Logan loved eating and playing X-Box 360 games, especially “Call of Duty” with his sister Tiffany.
Surviving in addition to his parents are grandmother, Marlene Harbaugh of Emmitsburg; grandfather, Joseph Crepeau of Colorado; siblings, Tiffany T. Crepeau of Cascade, Kamerin Crepeau and Dustin Zimmerman both of Thurmont, and Stacey Haugan of Texas; aunts and uncles, Donna and Bobby Kuhn of Emmitsburg, Cheri and Bruce Hollinger of Fairfield, Lisa and David Rawlings of Fairfield; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Donald Harbaugh in 2007.
Funeral services and interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Frederick will be private for the family. The family will receive friends on both Monday, December 27th and Tuesday, December 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 West Main St., Emmitsburg, MD. Logan will be carried to his rest by his girls, mother, Robin Wheeler; sister, Tiffany Crepeau; grandmother, Marlene Harbaugh; and aunts, Donna Kuhn, Cheri Hollinger and Lisa Rawlings.
