Lisa Smith

April 22, 1958 — July 14, 2018

Robbin L. Smith, “Lisa” to her friends and family, 60, of Fairfield, PA passed away at Gettysburg Hospital on Saturday, July 14, 2018.  Born April 22, 1958 in Stafford, AZ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel (Douglas) Moore.  She was the wife of Michael Smith, to whom she was married for 41 years.

Lisa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She worked as a cook at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD for more than 20 years.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Emmitsburg.  She enjoyed cooking, taking rides around the countryside with her husband Mike, and collecting angel figurines.  Lisa was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Surviving, in addition to her beloved husband Mike, are daughters, Melissa Walker and husband Michael of Waynesboro, PA, and Jessica Smith of Fairfield, PA; sister, Tomi McClain of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Timothy Moore of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Debbie Smith of Emmitsburg, MD; brothers-in-law, Charles Smith of Gettysburg and Oliver Smith and wife Cynthia of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren, Caitlin and Ethan; special nephew, Michael Smith ("Birdie") of Emmitsburg; and 4 nieces and 8 nephews, all of AZ.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD with the Rev. Charles F. Krieg, C.M. officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lisa’s name may be made to The American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
