Linda Ann Weishaar

Linda Ann Weishaar, age 76 died at her home surrounded by her loving family on January 4, 2024. Born July 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Allen David and Rita Geneveve Cool.

Linda worked at Evapco as a machinist for many years, retiring in 2016. She was a longtime member of Emmitsburg Community Baptist Church. She cleaned the church weekly, she was there to welcome visitors and new members, she participated in the woman’s bible study group and helped with Christmas projects, wherever there was a need she would step up.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Topper and her husband Jeff of Emmitsburg, Kimberly Loy and her husband Mark of Westminster and Melissa Hagan and her husband Rusty of Thurmont; son, Joshua Weishaar and wife Allison of Orrtanna, PA; grandchildren, Jay Topper of Emmitsburg, Brian Topper and wife Sarah of Emmitsburg, MD, Christopher Ward, and companion  Melissa of Sykesville, Tylor Beall of Winfield, Matthew Hagan of Thurmont, Shayna Hagan of Taneytown and Dallas and Weston Weishaar of Orrtanna PA; great grandchildren, Sophia, Leo, Kylie, Able and Ava: sisters, Cecelia Dillman and Debbie Hurley; brothers, Gary and Jerry Cool.

She is predeceased by her husband Victor A. Weishaar in 2015, brothers Ronald J. Cool, Sr. and Terry Cool.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Emmitsburg Community Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends for a time of visitation at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
