Linda Marie Portner

Linda Marie Portner, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday December 16, 2023. Born, November 11, 1949, in Hanover PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Little and Criselda Klein.  She was the loving wife of Harry Portner for 12 years.

Linda was a hard worker, and her work took her down many avenues but what filled her heart was giving back by way of taking care of patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Linda was one of the most giving people you would have ever met. She was a devoted Catholic and a long-time member of St. Anthony Shrine in Emmitsburg, MD. She loved life, going to the beach and was very family oriented; she would move mountains for those she loved. She travelled to San Diego to soak in some time with her grandkids and was often seen on the sidelines of sporting events of her Pennsylvania grandkids.

Besides her husband, Harry, she is survived by her stepfather, Michael Klein of Abbottstown, PA;   daughter, Kristen Maggipinto and husband David of Wind Gap, PA; son, Michael Klunk and wife Patricia of San Diego, CA; stepdaughter, Tina Connatser and husband Randy of Keymar, MD; stepson, Harry Portner and wife Bonnie of Hudson, FL; sisters, Cindy Hankey and husband John of Abbottstown, PA and Mary Wolford and husband Mike of Hanover, PA; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Shrine, 16150 St. Anthony Rd., Emmitsburg.

The family will receive friends at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
