Linda Ellen Crum, age 60 of Taneytown, MD, passed suddenly at her home on July 27, 2024. Born March 12, 1964, she was the daughter of Faye and Rick Klass, and paternal father, Bob Dildine.
Our mother was a woman of many talents. Known by many for her skills in the kitchen, she was an excellent cook and baker. She also had a flair for fashion, even modeling for a time in the 1980s, and her eye for style was always admired. While these gifts were significant, her most important role was that of a mother. She raised her daughters to embrace grace, empathy, and kindness. From a young age, she taught us to turn the other cheek and to consider others’ perspectives. Looking back, we realize she wasn’t just encouraging empathy but also teaching us how to let go and not let the weight of the world burden us. Our mother was a strong, understanding woman who loved her daughters deeply. We know she will continue to watch over us and guide us with the same love and wisdom that she shared throughout her life. As a family we traveled to the Outer Banks NC in which we have fond memories.
Besides her parents, Linda is survived by her former husband with whom she shared over 20 years of marriage, Paul Eric Crum; daughters Lauren Godoy, Jordyn Crum, and Hallie Monson; grandchildren, Miabella, Alianna, Leo and Adaline Godoy; best friend, Sue Murr; siblings, Lisa Sackett, Leslie Bell, and Richard Jr. Klass; aunts, Etta Wandres, Mandy Stiffler; whom growing up as a young girl she often spent time with and was who cared for Linda. Cathy Elliott, Dee Nichols and Sheila Hair.
She is predeceased by her first husband and the love of her life, Wayne George Dupuis.
