Linda Anne (Davies) Carr

Linda Anne Davies Carr departed this life on September 17, 2021. Born July 22, 1948 in Augusta, GA to Edward and Miriam Davies, and she spent her early years in Oahu, Hawaii until moving to Wheaton, MD. She attended the University of Maryland and worked for twenty seven years with C&P Telephone (Verizon) in Washington, D.C. She is survived by her husband of thirty seven years Braxton B. Carr, her sister Patricia Saunders (Brian) of San Diego, CA, three stepchildren, Rebecca Jennifer Jones of Gaithersburg, Matthew Carr of Lewes, DE (Kim), and Adam Carr of Conroe, TX; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two nephews and one niece. There will be no viewing and the funeral Mass and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Carr’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences may be offered at www.myersdurborawfh.com. Arrangements by MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A. of Emmitsburg.
