Lester Paul Yingling, age 72 of Westminster died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He was born September 25, 1937 in Westminster, son of the late Augustin and Daisy Yingling. He was the youngest of sixteen siblings. He was the husband of Patsy M. Zentz Yingling, his wife of 43 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Berlin crisis. He worked as a commercial cleaner at the Westminster Towne Mall. He attended St. John Catholic Church and earlier attended St. John School.
He was an avid Ravens fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Brown and Peggy Combs both of Westminster; grandchildren, Bonnie Sisler, Jessica Brown, Ashley Combs, Amanda Brown, R.C. Combs and Casey Combs; great grandchildren, Brooke Thayer, Nathaniel Sisler and Chloe Sisler.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 15th, 12 noon at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Deacon Joseph Cinquino officiating.
Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
at the funeral home. Please wear Ravens attire.
