Leon D. Lassiter, age 75 of Mt. Airy, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, Maryland. He was born August 23, 1936 in North Carolina, son of the late Percy Lassiter and Bessie Jane Taylor. He worked as a landscaper.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Stallworth, Alfreda Louise Sutton and Eldrena Perry; sons, Donald L. Stallworth and Arthur Devon-Majarone; sisters, Mallie Gregory, Elizabeth Dolfinger and Rose Marie Shepherd; brothers, Robert Stewart, Lorenzo Lassiter and Percy Lassiter, Jr..
He was predeceased by his son, Terry Daily, sister, Adell Pearson and brother, John Willie Lassiter.
Services and interment were private.
