Leah Katherine Reindollar Baumgardner, age 100, of Taneytown died peacefully Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her home. Born February 11, 1911 in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Elsie Leister Reindollar. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Baumgardner, Sr. who died in 1983.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and playing Bridge. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Taneytown, the Republican Women’s Club, the Silver Fancy Garden Club and the Trinity Fun Bunch.
Surviving are son, Robert “Skip” Baumgardner, Jr. and wife, Marcia, of Palm Coast, FL; grandsons, Christopher and Timothy Baumgardner of Richmond, VA; and great-grandsons, Reed, Liam & Mark Baumgardner of Richmond, VA.
Funeral services will be private with interment following at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 29 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 East Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD.
