Laura Desiree Walker, age 52, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home.
Born December 26, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Charles G. Campbell, Jr. of Westminster and the late Delphine Mary (Haltiner) Campbell.
She worked as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Reisterstown for many years. She loved her dogs Sophie and Pip, and enjoyed the family farm. She was a loving and devoted Mom to her children.
Surviving her in addition to her father are children, Jessica Walker of PA, Charles Walker of Westminster, Rosemari Walker of Delaware, and Sarah Walker of Westminster; step-children, Angie Exum of Tenn., and Matt Brown of Westminster; grandchildren, Ryleigh and Charlee.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
