Larry Little

Larry Joseph Little, 76, of Westminster, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.  Born February 5, 1945 in Uniontown, MD, he was the son of the late Jesse and Margie (Ecker) Little.  He was the devoted husband of Judy (Ganske) Little, his wife of almost 53 years.

Larry was employed by Carroll County Public Schools.  He had served as Building Supervisor at Robert Moten Elementary for 27 years.  He was previously employed by Black & Decker and the A&P Grocery Store in Westminster.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, gardening, and collecting model tractors and Elvis memorabilia.  More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife Judy, are children, Jody Hudson and husband Milton of Westminster, Terri Little and fiancé Jack Kline of Philadelphia, PA, and Larry R. Little and wife Danielle of Manchester; brother, Garry Little and wife Bonnie of Harney; grandchildren, Bryan Hudson and wife Stephanie, Jamie Eskins and husband Alex; Tyler Hudson and wife Carly; Cori Kircher, and Ty Little; great-grandchildren, Lil Bryan, Rylee, Colt, and Savanna; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by siblings, Edith, Catherine, Norman, Sonny, and Ed Little, and Viola Schuchart.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12th at Gates of Praise Worship Center, 226 Kingsdale Rd., Littlestown, PA 17340.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown, MD.
