Kenneth L. Moorehead, 53, formerly of Laurel, Md., died Sunday, January 1, 2012 in Littlestown, PA. Born March 21, 1958 in Miami, FL., he was the son of Janice (nee Poe) Moorehead and the late Bruce Moorehead; grandson of the late John and Betty Poe. He graduated from Laurel H.S. in 1976, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1979 to 1983. He enjoyed all sports, hiking, camping, and was an avid reader. His greatest joy was walking his dog of 13 years, "Sierra" in the woods. Surviving in addition to his mother are brother John Moorehead; sisters Kim Dilorenzo and Cindy Moorehead; nephew Shawn Moorehead; niece Codi Dilorenzo and numerous cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Oaklands Presbyterian Church, 14301 Laurel-Bowie Rd. & Rt. 197 in Laurel. Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
