Kenneth Clabaugh

Kenneth Eugene Clabaugh, 78, of Emmitsburg, MD, formerly of Thurmont, died Monday, May 3, 2021 at Gettysburg Hospital.  Born November 26, 1942 in Thurmont, he was the son of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (Byard) Clabaugh.

Kenny was retired from Moore’s Business Forms in Thurmont, where he worked for many years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He enjoyed antiquing, going to yard sales, collecting glassware, and going for rides through the countryside.  He was active in both the Thurmont and Emmitsburg Senior Centers.

He is survived by a brother, Donald Clabaugh, of Thurmont; and several nieces and nephews.  He is also remembered by many friends, including close friends Austin and Linda Umbel.  He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Best.

In accordance with Kenny’s wishes, there will be no service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Emmitsburg, MD.
