Kathi D. Roser, 62, of Keymar, Maryland died peacefully Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick following a valiant battle with cancer. Born July 2, 1953 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Brooks) Decker. She was the wife of John Roser of Keymar.
Kathi was a manager at Trout’s Market in Woodsboro for several years. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, decorating her home, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children, Chris Graham and wife Crystal of Waynesboro, VA, and Stacey Walton and husband Chris of Stewarts Draft, VA; step-children, Patricia Boone and husband Joe of Keymar, Chris Roser and wife Lori of Carlisle, PA, Jason Roser and wife Kelley of Keymar, and Carson, Carissa, and Casadee Musser of Taneytown; 4 sisters; 9 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Decker.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Terra Rubra Lions Club, 6300 Middleburg Rd., Keymar, MD, 21757. A brief memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating.
