Judy (Lookingbill) Hagan

Judith Dianne “Judy” Hagan, 63, of Keymar, MD died peacefully with her family at her bedside on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.  Born January 15, 1955 in Keymar, she was the daughter of the late Vernon “Peck” Lookingbill and the late Dorothy Ellen (Horner) Lookingbill-Yingling.  She was the beloved wife of Franklin E. Hagan, Sr. to whom she was married for 31 years.

Judy was a cook at Eunice’s Restaurant, formerly The Backyard Café, near Walkersville.  She enjoyed going to yard sales, camping, cooking, collecting dolls, listening to gospel music, attending church services and spending time with her family.  Judy loved holidays, especially Christmas.  She had a kind and generous heart and her door was always open to anyone in need.

Surviving, in addition to her husband Frank, are children, Dawn Wilson and husband Sam of Hanover, PA, David Renner and companion Jessica of Taneytown, Donna Renner and husband Ron of KY, Vernon Renner of Westminster, Jamie Gumm-Sandy and companion Jay of MD, and Rusty Hagan and wife Missy of Keymar; son-in law, Ricky Sandy of Keymar; step-children, Franklin Hagan, Jr. and companion Tammy of Taneytown, and Pam Hagan and husband Doug of Taneytown; siblings, Chris Lookingbill and wife Peggy of Fairfield, PA, Christine Caswell of Taneytown, David Lookingbill of Cumberland, MD, Charles Lookingbill of PA, Martin Lookingbill and wife Vicky of Gettysburg, PA, Brenda Sours and husband Lynn of Cascade, MD, Lori Stonesifer and companion Brian Stitely of Emmitsburg, and Susan Pittinger and husband Michael of Walkersville.  Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD with Judy’s cousin-in-law, Pastor Neil Augustine, officiating.  Burial will follow at Keysville Union Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, January 29th at the funeral home.
