Joseph Edward Linville, age 56 of Westminster, died Thursday May 27, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born March 2, 1954 in Baltimore the son of the late Marion J. Linville and Marie Peterson Gerlovich.. He was the husband of Patricia “Patsy” A. Park Linville, his wife of 26 years.
He worked for 29 years in the movie theatre business as a manager and continued to enjoy movies. In later years he worked as a car salesman. He loved sports especially baseball and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed all kinds of collecting. He loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Julie Anne and Becky Linville of Westminster; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Robert Meil of Westminster, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Ralph Park of Florida, step-mother, Daphne B. Linville of Tennessee, step-brother, Mike Gerlovich of Indiana; step-sisters, Joann Summers of Virginia and Janice Andrews of Maryland.
He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Linville and step-father, Joseph Gerlovich.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster.
Service and interment will be private.
