Joe was a driver for various trucking companies, most recently St. Johnsbury Trucking. He loved nature, being on the road, experiencing different parts of the country, and sharing what he learned along life’s way with anyone who would listen. He enjoyed tinkering with things and repairing whatever was broken. Joe always looked on the positive side of life.
Surviving him are sisters and spouses, Susanne and Emmanouil Agniadis and Carol Ann and Frank Passarello, of Westminster, and Donna and George Neumeister of Stewartstown, PA; brothers and spouses, Henry and Martha Chinery of Sykesville, David and Vicki Chinery of Stewartstown, PA, and Kevin P. Chinery of Frederick; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael F. Chinery in 2002.
A Funeral Prayer Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 11 A.M. until noon.
