John "Mike" "Bookman" Buzgerski

John “Mike” “Bookman” Buzgerski, 74, of Hampstead, Maryland, died peacefully surrounded by his caregivers and friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.

Mike was born on May 27, 1943 in Baltimore, MD.  He was retired from the MD State Highway Department.  Mike was loved and cared for by his Richcroft family for over 33 years, and attended Change, Inc. for over 30 years.  He loved horses and all types of animals, smoking cigars, eating at Taco-Bell, Coca-Cola, scrapbooking, visiting Goodwill, and Elvis.  He enjoyed music especially Soul-Train and watching Western movies and shows.  He touched so many lives with his loving and contagious personality and will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster.  Burial will follow in the Carrollton Church of God Cemetery in Finksburg.  Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
