John M. Woodward

John M. Woodward, age 67, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at his home in Keymar, MD. Born October 7, 1956, he was the son of the late Harry A. and Martha E. Woodward. He was the loving husband of Betty Woodward, together nearly 30 years and married 25 years.

John was a good man, father, grandfather, uncle and father figure to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, building model cars, trucks, planes and just about anything that could be found as a model.

Besides his wife Betty, John is survived by his children, Tina Woodward of Taneytown, Jessie Click and wife Contessa, and Scott Barth and wife Kristen of Eldersburg; grandchildren, David and Maddie Hardford, Marlee Click, Kira and Kamryn Barth; siblings, James Woodward, Jeff Lohmeyer, and Diane, Dennis, and Mark Hamme; niece, Maria Ruddlesden and husband Sean of Taneytown; nephew, Joey Kibler; grandnieces, Joyce, Faye and Keegin and Aaliyah Ruddlesden; and a grandnephew, Sean, Jr. due in March 2024.
