John Edward Monthley, III, age 60, of Abbottstown, PA, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Hanover General Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born November 9, 1951 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late John E. and Norma L. (Webster) Monthley.
He graduated from Francis Scott Key H.S. and Frederick Community College.
Surviving are brothers, C. William Monthley and wife Lisa of Union Bridge, Daniel T. Monthley and wife Helene of Boalsburg, PA, and Thomas E. Monthley of Owings Mills, MD; nieces, Dana Mangus and Teal Perez; nephew, Brad Monthley.
Graveside services and interment will be private in Deal Island Cemetery, Deal Island, MD.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown, MD.
