John Jeffrey Hamilton, age 40, of Taneytown, Maryland, died suddenly on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his home.
Born September 14, 1968 in Mansfield, Ohio, he was the son of John D. Hamilton of Ashland, Ohio, and the late Brenda J. (Huff) Hamilton. He was the former husband of Angelique R. Hamilton of Taneytown, and former fiancée and best friend of Rachel White of Baltimore.
He was in food service management and loved spending time with friends and family.
Surviving are children, Miranda Hamilton of Hanover, PA, John and Doug Hamilton of Taneytown, Matthew Rohn of Baltimore, and Kaitlynn Hamilton of Baltimore; grandson Jeffrey Beall; brother Mark Hamilton of Ohio, and a sister Janet Hamilton of Chicago, Ill.
Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 2nd from the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
