John Carl Dahlberg, age 55, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born March 8, 1954 in Lafayette, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Robin L. and Helen Q. (Jacobs) Dahlberg. He was the husband of 25 years to Patricia Anne (Hoke) Dahlberg.
He attended St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in Manchester, and loved fishing and going to the beach with family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are children Richard “Jake” Jacobs Dahlberg and Kirsten Leigh Dahlberg both of Westminster; brothers, Stewart Dahlberg of St. Louis, Missouri and Robin Dahlberg of England; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sol and Nellie Hoke of Westminster; uncle, Dr. William Dahlberg of Colorado; Also surviving are numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with the Rev. Michael J. Roach as celebrant. Interment will follow in the John Luther Miller Memorial Cemetery in Bachmans Valley. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.
