John F. Chilcoat, 47, of Littlestown, PA died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 19, 2011 in Waynesboro, PA. Born October 1, 1963 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Leonard and Marceline Chilcoat.
He was a construction worker for several companies during his career and enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring cars, NASCAR racing, beer, and country western music.
Surviving are daughter Lorin Chilcoat and son John Chilcoat of Littlestown; grandson Kade; sisters Carolyn McGee of Walkersville, Deborah Henry of Reisterstown, & Marjorie Whitacre of Hanover, PA; and brother James Chilcoat of Easton, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 8 PM, on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 East Baltimore St., Taneytown with Anthony DiVita officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
