Joan Edythe Roloff passed away on the morning of December 23,2021. Joan was born in Pennsylvania to George and Ivy Brown. They resided in Westminster, Maryland, where part of Westminster was nicknamed “Brown Town”. The Brown family was a big, big family, hence where the name “Brown Town” originated.
Joan was survived by her brother George Brown and her sister Evelyn Mulfinger. Joan had 6 children, Roberta Watson, Cheryl Rogers, Robert Roloff (deceased), Teresa Dolly (deceased), Donna Reed, and Neil Roloff. Joan has had the pleasure of having many grandchildren and great grandchildren!
In Joan’s younger years, she enjoyed skating and gardening to name a few things. Joan also made the best sour beef and dumplings! Joan was a spit fire, a no-nonsense type of gal! You couldn’t get nothing by her. If you were given the chance to have a place in her heart she would love you to pieces. As she got older and started to slow down, she enjoyed sitting on the porch bird watching. Joan had a love for hummingbirds, cats and dogs. If you didn’t find her on the porch you’d find her cuddled up on the sofa watching Gunsmoke. Well heck, she loved all westerns! Joan was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
