Janaki Devi Shrestha, 79, resident of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born on April 20, 1937 in Kathmandu, Nepal, she was the daughter of the late Ram Bahakta Shrestha and Chet Kumari Shrestha. She was predeceased by her husband Gopal Das Shrestha in 2008. She is survived and remembered by 7 children, many grandchildren, and extended family and friends. A private family Hindu prayer service was held at the funeral home on Monday, August 29, 2016 followed by cremation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
