Jim was employed with Verizon for more than 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and served during the Viet Nam War. He was a member and past Commander of Hesson Snider American Legion Post 120 in Taneytown. He was also a member of VFW Post 6918 in Harney, and the Littlestown Eagles in Littlestown, PA.
Surviving are sister, Judy Frock and husband Jim; nephew, Jason Frock and wife Denise; and great-niece, Taylor Frock and her fiancé, Michael Hockensmith, all of Taneytown.
Services are private, and have been entrusted to MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah United Methodist Church, 25 Middle St., Taneytown, MD, 21787.
