James Leroy Aumiller, Sr., 79, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born January 15, 1943, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Aumiller, Sr. and Isabel Hile.
He was a technology repairman, mainly fixing televisions, among other items. He enjoyed reading the bible and listening to Christian music, and playing pool; in his younger years he loved running.
Surviving are children, Jacqueline L. Heinze and husband Steven of Jarrettsville, James C. Angel and fiancée Rebecca Neal of Essex; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings Charles E. Aumiller, Jr. and Aletha Powell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John Franklin Aumiller and Kenneth Hile, and grand-daughter, Alexandra Justine Angel.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James’ name to Bethany Children’s Home, 1863 Bethany Road, Womelsdorf, PA 19567.
