Jacqueline “Jackie” B. Heffner, age 61, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2010 at her home.
Born March 25, 1949 in Westminster, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Allen and Helen (Feeser) Becker. She was predeceased by her husband, George Patrick Heffner in 2001.
She was a home health care nurses aide for the elderly for many years, and attended Church of the Open Door. Hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are sons, Tony Lee Heffner of Hampstead, Randy Eugene Heffner and wife Ann of Westminster; daughter-in-law, Debbie L. Heffner of Hampstead; grandchildren, Corey Chester, Marleigh Heffner, Brandon Orzolek, Zachery Moorefield, Autumn and Grant Heffner; brothers Allen H.W. Becker, Raymond Becker and Richard Becker all of Westminster; sisters Margaret Waltz, Mary Barrett, and Henrietta Esworthy all of Westminster, Peggy Hoff of Spring Grove, PA; 48 nieces and nephews; 84 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 6 step-children.
She was predeceased by a son, Desi Gene Heffner in 2002, and by sisters Marie Hartman, Lelah Groft, Geraldine Becker and Dorothy Becker; brothers John L., Robert L. and William H. Becker.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, April 30, 2010 in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, Maryland, with the Rev. Richard K. Shamer officiating.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
