Jack Edward Krabitz, 87, of Taneytown, Maryland died Friday, December 26, 2014 at his home. Born October 14, 1927 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Margaret (Lawton) Krabitz. He was the husband of Patricia “Pat” Boone Krabitz, to whom he was married for 49 years.
Jack was a supervisor and programmer for the B&O, Chessie, and CSX Railroads. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens, the Baltimore Orioles, and the former Baltimore Colts. He loved German Shepherds and owned several over the years. He enjoyed horse racing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by daughter, Patricia Lyle and husband David of Frederick; grandchildren, Alec, Jack, and Gigi Lyle; two nieces; and three nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Dorothy Lewis.
Graveside services and interment will be private at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Taneytown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
