Isaac Monroe Iglehart

Isaac Monroe Iglehart, age 70, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Monday, July 5, 2010 at his home.
Born February 22, 1940 in Sykesville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Floyd Monroe and Catherine Lee Myrle (Hooper) Iglehart. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Ann (Sauter) Iglehart.
Isaac was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Gamber, and attended Messiah United Methodist Church in Taneytown, since moving to Carroll Vista. He was retired as an engineering specialist for the U.S. government working for the Department of Defense. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the American Legion Hesson Snyder Post #120 in Taneytown, and the Littlestown Eagles, Aerie 2226.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Brent Iglehart of Jessup, MD, Brian Iglehart and wife Wendy of Timonium, MD, and Karen Iglehart of Baltimore, MD.
He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy L. Iglehart.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday from the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. William Louis Piel officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Sykesville.
