Iris P. Andrew age 94, of Emmitsburg passed away peacefully at her home on October 5, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born August 15, 1930, to the late Fannie Green Hays and was the loving wife of the late Richard E. Andrew.
Iris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and her extended family. She enjoyed gardening, watching country music shows, collecting Fenton and dolls. She stayed active & independent well into her 90’s.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Mitch (Micky) Andrew, Toby (Becky) Andrew, Blaine (Melissa) Andrew, Tracy (Brian) Orndorff, all of Fairfield, PA, Jaime “Bub” (Paula) Andrew and Sean “Scuff” (Dawn) Andrew of Emmitsburg, MD, Travis (Laura) Andrew, Christina Andrew, Nicole Andrew, Chelsea Andrew of MD;15 Great Grand Children and 18 Great Great Grand Children.
Besides her husband Richard, she is predeceased by her sons Richard “Rick” Andrew and Anthony “Wayne” Andrew; Great Granddaughter, Montanna Andrew, and sister, Julia “Kitty” Kline.
She will also be greatly missed by the families of the Late Dr. George & Jane Morningstar and Dottie & Jim Phelan.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
