She was born March 9, 1924 in Ridgeway, PA, daughter of the late John and Anna (Johnson) Anderson.
She will always be remembered as the cornerstone of the Starecheski family and will be greatly missed. Irene left behind a legacy that will always be in our hearts.
She is survived by sons, Eddie A. Starecheski of Mass., Gary J. Starecheski of Vermont, and James K. Starecheski of Delaware and their families; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 great friends, Barb and Carl Starkweather of MD.
Irene will be joining her husband Edward B. Starecheski and daughter Susan I. Mascaro in heaven and will be always looking down on us.
She will be buried beside her husband, Edward, on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Allegheny Cemetery, Allegany, NY.
