Imogene Faith Szymanski, age 86 of Westminster, died Sunday November 15, 2009 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was born January 14, 1923 in Baltimore the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Selby Thomas. She was the wife of the late Konstanley William Szymanski who died in 1994.
She is survived by children, William D. Szymanski and wife Agnes of Arbutus, Donna J. Gange of Hanover, PA, Kathleen W. Patton of Hanover, PA, Robert C. Szymanski and wife Stephanie of Westminster and Mark C. Szymanski of Westminster; also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by siblings, Oscar, Joseph, Jr., Donald and Chauncey Thomas, Margaret Tucker, Emily Bilger and Julia Faro.
A funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 AM at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster.
Interment will follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
The family will receive friends Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
