Howard Hammond Casey Iii

August 26, 1930 — January 8, 2016

Howard Hammond Casey III, 85, of Baltimore, MD, died peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.  Born August 26, 1930 in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard Hammond Casey, Jr. and Myrtle Deuter Casey.  He was the husband of Wanda (Lowe) Casey, to whom he was married for 35 years.

Howard was a Sales Engineer with Fisher Controls Company in Baltimore for nearly 35 years.  An avid reader and history buff, he also enjoyed sailing, fishing, the Irish Rovers, the Pipes and Drums of Black Watch, spending time with his family, and a good scotch whiskey.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Pamela Ullman and husband Lee of Elverson, PA, and Christine Hostetter and husband Ken of Westminster; sister, Judith Casey Harris of Simpsonville, SC; grandson, Dylan Hostetter; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother-in-law, Keith F. Harris.

Services are private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD, 21157.
