Herbert Edgar Haney

Herbert Edgar Haney, 92, of Westminster passed away peacefully, Monday, April 10th, 2023, at Lorien Nursing in Columbia surrounded by his family.  Born January 20th, 1931, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Frank Haney and Katherine Sugar, nee Cutwright.  He was the devoted husband of the late Dorothy Claire Haney, nee Deery, his wife of 69 years, who passed away August 8th, 2020.

He was member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Smallwood and was a Mason.

He was the loving father of Harold Haney and his wife Linda of Lottsburg, VA and Bruce Haney and his wife Donna of Clarksville; dear grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 7; cherished brother-in-law of Sandra Hickey.

The family will receive friends for visitation 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157) with Rev. Melissa Helfer of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Smallwood.
