Helen M Bennett

Helen M. Bennett, 103, of Westminster, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born June 20, 1920, in Milford, NJ, she was the daughter to the late William and Margaret McComb, nee McClinathen.

She was a private secretary at AT&T for 10 years, and for Old Bridge Public Schools for 5 years. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing golf, and going to the beach. She was proud to be an American.

Surviving is daughter, Elizabeth Bennett of Westminster; granddaughter, Tammy Bennett of FL; daughter-in-law, Linda Lee Bennett of Eldersburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son William, and a sister, Margaret Gistedt.

The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 am on Friday, July 28, 2023, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. A funeral service will begin at 11 am at the funeral home with Bishop Richard Yoder officiating. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, Maryland.
