Harry Alden Moore, 95 of Charlotte Hall, MD; formerly of Elkins, WV; died on Friday, April 29, 2022. Born on December 30, 1926, he was the son of the late Elmer and Alice (nee Alkier) Moore. He was the loving husband of Ruby Savannah Moore, his wife of 62 years, who passed in November 2008.

Harry worked as a glazier in a glass manufacturing company. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and loved nature. His football team was the Washington Redskins and he even worked at the stadium in his younger years.

Surviving are children, Gary Moore and wife Karen of Brandywine, Sandy Koroll and husband Dennis of SC; grandchildren,Gary, Jr., Joe, Andrew Moore and Matthew Shackett; great-grandchildren,  Hudson, Scarlett, Ashlyn, Kendall, Maylees, and Cooper; and brother John Moore, of Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to his parents and wife, Harry is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with a burial at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery to follow.
