Harry Douglas Maddox, age 69, of Fairfield, PA, died on Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home.
Born December 9, 1945 in New Windsor, Maryland, he was the son of the late Calvin Maddox and Annabelle (Kreamer) Maddox Baker. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda K. (Forrest) Maddox.
Harry worked as a printer for Moore Business Forms for many years. He was a member of the NRA and the Potter County Angler’s Club. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman enjoying both hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are brothers, John Maddox and wife Gloria of Littlestown, PA, Dr. Terry Maddox and wife Carolynn of Thurmont, and Robert Maddox and wife Denise of Emmitsburg. Also surviving are several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg with Rev. Ronald Kurtz officiating. Interment will follow in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
