Harry “Junior” Dowden, 66, of Westminster, died Wednesday evening, April 16, 2014.
Born April 1, 1948 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Harry W. Dowden, Sr. and Mary Teresa Long Dowden.
Harry worked for Monumental Millwork as a mill worker for many years.
Surviving are sisters, Ruth Ann Dowden and Harriet W. Dowden, Elnoria M. Heilman and Dorothy D. Duvall and brother-in-law, Raymond “Butch” Duvall, all of Westminster; sister, Florence Hall of Latrobe, PA and brother and wife, Jim and Eileen Dowden of Latrobe, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, James R. Dowden, Sr., who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1982, and brother-in-law, Melvin Heilman, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Prayer Service at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
