H. William “Bill” Glazier, Jr. age 69, of Westminster, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. He was born June 28, 1941 in Pennsylvania the son of the late Howard William and Sarah Gibson Glazier. He was the husband of Patricia M. Glazier.
He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, serving on the church council and was a Stephen Minister. He was an avid alumni of Villanova University. Bill enjoyed music, traveling, dancing and was a sports fan. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Karen and Edward, brother-in-law, Bob and wife, Mary, mother-in-law, Frances, grandchildren, Adam and Alexandra.
He was predeceased by his aunt, M. Caroline Snyder.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll Street, Westminster with his pastors, Rev. Kevin C. Clementson and Rev. Martha W. Clementson co-officiating.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limeklin Pike, (Prospectville) Ambler, PA 19002.
The family will receive friends Saturday 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster.
