Gregory Alan Fox

Gregory Alan Fox, 67, died peacefully November 30th at his home in Sabillasville, Maryland surrounded by his loving family. Greg was born July 13, 1956, in Waynesboro, PA. He was the son of the late Joseph Jackson Sr., and Jean C. Fox.

Greg loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter, and was in the Army for 3 years (June 1974 - June 1977). He faced his illness on his own terms with courage and grace and, in doing so, reminded those closest to him of the preciousness of life. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Frederick Hospice Staff.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Marie Fox; grandson, Jonathan Gregory Hacen; brothers, Michael Wade Fox and Charles Roy Fox; sister, Marsha Hawbaker his "special brothers", Cecil Ridenour and Ted Ridenour; niece, Amy Balinski; "special niece", Kayla Marie Cooper; several nieces and nephews; and his pet and faithful companion Max.

Greg was preceded in death by his daughter, Kerry Lee Fox Hacen; mother, Jean C. Fox; father, Joseph J. Fox, Sr; and brother, Joseph J. Fox, Jr (Jackie).

At his request, no service will be held. A private ceremony will be held at a later date in the Highland Mountains of West Virginia.
