Gordon Lee Davis, 85, of Taneytown died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born October 16, 1926 in Linthicum, Maryland, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mildred Scheel Davis. He was the husband of the late Jean Bounds Davis.
Gordon spent his career as a driver for Trailways Bus Line. He was also a local farmer.
Surviving are son, Kenneth Davis, and daughter-in-law, Karen, of Taneytown; and grandchildren, Scott, Hannah and Tim Davis.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 2 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 East Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD. Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD, 21157.
