Glen Richard Lambert, age 58 of Westminster died Tuesday July 20, 2010 at his home. He was born October 22, 1951 in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, son of the late James M. and Bessie A. Purtee Lambert. He was the husband of Barbara Haines Lambert, his wife of 37 years. He was a Direct Care aide at Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville for 31 years. Glen was a member of Westminster Baptist Church. He enjoyed collecting diecast and Hot Wheel cars old and new.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Darrell Lambert and Joseph Lambert, both of Westminster; brother Harold Lambert of Frederick; sisters, Linda Lewis of Finksburg, Lucinda Curfman of New Windsor and Ruth Lundy of Westminster; also several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday July 26, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with his pastor Rev. J. Larry Steen officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
