Gina Marie Clayland, 53, of Taneytown, Maryland died unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2014 at her residence. Born July 9, 1960 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Samuel R. Clayland of Taneytown and the late Lucille Brocato Clayland.
Gina was a chef at the Bachman Valley Inn in Manchester for several years. She previously worked as a waitress at Cockey’s Tavern in Westminster and as manager of Blockbuster’s in Westminster. Gina enjoyed being in the sun and spending time with her family.
In addition to her father, she is survived by sister, Sherrie A. Keeney of Westminster; brothers, Samuel R. Clayland, Jr. and wife Crystal of Ocean City, Daniel E. Clayland of Ocean City, and William D. Clayland of Westminster; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother-in-law, Stanley Keeney.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD. Prayers will be offered by Monsignor Martin E. Feild at 7:30. Interment will be private.
