Gertrude Minerva Nash, age 81 of Finksburg, formerly of Baltimore, died Thursday April 2, 2009 at Northwest Hospital Seasons Hospice in Randallstown. She was born December 31, 1927 in Sandymount, MD the daughter of the late Howard E. Sr. and Grace E. Slorp Harpel. She was the wife of James W. Nash who died in 1981. She was a graduate of Westminster High School. Before retirement she worked as a medical records clerk at Maryland General Hospital.
She is survived by her sister, Agnes L. Conaway of Finksburg; nephews, Paul H. Conaway and Howard E. Harpel III both of Finksburg; nieces, Linda J. Rill of Westminster and Patricia Brown of Charlotte Hall, MD.
He was predeceased by siblings, Eleanor L. Harpel and Howard E. Harpel, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster
On Monday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. David L. Meador officiating.
Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
