Geraldine Rachelle Jones

Geraldine Rachelle Jones, 74, of Emmitsburg, MD, died at her residence Monday, December 7, 2015 as the result of a tragic fire.  Born October 20, 1941 in Walkersville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Evelyn Brant.  She was the loving wife of Donnie Jones, her husband of 26 years.

Geraldine worked in the food service department of the Daughters of Charity Provincial House in Emmitsburg, MD for 25 years.  She enjoyed vacationing, watching her favorite TV programs, having a good meal, and listening to country & western Music.  Her favorite singer was Johnny Cash.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Debbie West, of Martinsburg, WV; sons, Tony Long of Martinsburg, WV, and Danny Long of Bluffton, IN; and several grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother, Bob Brandt, of Florida.  She was predeceased by a brother, Bill Brandt.
