Georgina Esther "Georgie" Barahona, 45, of Emmitsburg, Maryland, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 6, 2014 at her home. Born June 9, 1969 in El Salvador, she was the daughter of Lilly Wheeler and Angel Barahona of California.
Georgie was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children. Georgie also enjoyed reading and collecting Beanie Babies.
Surviving in addition to her parents are children, Daniel and Zabrina Morales, and Nathan and Athena Carbajol all of Emmitsburg; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Georgie’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2014 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St, Emmitsburg, MD. Burial will be private.
