Gayla C. Tallon

Gayla Christine Tallon, age 75, formerly of Florence, KY, died on Friday, June 17, 2022 at The Dove House Westminster. Born April 20, 1947 in Tacoma WA, she was the daughter of the late Gail and Delavinia Guthrie.  She was the loving wife of Larry Tallon for 24 years.

Gayla spent a lifetime caring for others; her mother for many years and her husband whom suffered from poor health. Recently she came to live with her daughter after learning of her terminal illness to no longer be the caretaker but to be cared for. She was completely devoted to her family a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed family gatherings, novels and flea marketing. She loved her dogs.  She was witty and sassy; she never missed a beat with her quick wit and humor.

Gayla is survived by her children, Kimberly Bennett and husband John of Fairfield, PA, Tommy Arrowood and wife Christine of Fairfield, PA, Jamie Arrowood of Seguin, TX and Jason Arrowood and wife Jennifler of Falling Waters, WV; brother Larry Guthrie of Tacoma, WA; sisters Donna Wilson of Langley, WA and Bonnie Salzman of Graham, WA; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sister, Jeannie Hollensen.
