Freda Marie (Leake) Lauder

Freda Marie Lauder, 92, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home.

Born January 17, 1929 in Lonaconing, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude (Winters) Leake.  She was the loving and devoted wife of 71 years to David A. Lauder.

Freda enjoyed traveling and camping with her family, as well as reading and sewing.  She enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband David are daughters, Victoria Kirmse and husband Francis of Dundalk, Debra Darchicourt and husband David of Hanover; grandchildren, Jonathan Rusk and wife Nichole, Aaron Kirmse, Jessica Roop and husband Jason, Joshua Darchicourt; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rusk and Benjamin Roop.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD, with Pastor Richard Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Baltimore. Friends and family may visit on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
